Subprocessors List
To deliver our high-end book production and digital distribution services, British Self Publisher engages third-party subprocessors to perform data processing activities. This page details who these subprocessors are, what they process, and their processing locations.
1. What is a Subprocessor?
A subprocessor is a third-party data processor engaged by British Self Publisher who has, or potentially will have, access to or process customer data (which may include personal information or manuscript files). We perform due diligence on all subprocessors to ensure they meet stringent security and data protection obligations.
2. List of Subprocessors
We use the following third-party infrastructure and service partners:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) / DigitalOcean: Cloud hosting, server infrastructure, and secure database backups. (Processing Location: United Kingdom / Germany)
- Stripe: Payment processing gateway to securely handle credit/debit card invoices. We do not store financial credentials directly on our servers. (Processing Location: United States / Ireland)
- SendGrid / Mailgun: Email infrastructure to send service update notifications and transaction confirmation emails. (Processing Location: United States)
- Google Workspace: Secure cloud file storage and email communication for manuscripts, contracts, and author briefing files. (Processing Location: EU / United States)

As our business operations grow, we may occasionally change or add subprocessors. We will update this page with any modifications.
